Privacy Policy for ANU PDFLAB
Effective date: 7 September 2026. ANU PDFLAB, available at https://pdflab.in/, is operated by Anu Tool. This policy explains what information may be handled when you use our tools, contact forms, support channels and advertising features.
Our browser-based file handling approach
Most tools on ANU PDFLAB are built to process files directly inside your browser wherever technically possible. This means selected PDFs, images or text files are generally processed on your device and are not intentionally stored by ANU PDFLAB. Tools such as image compressor, image resizer, text to PDF, QR code generator and basic PDF utilities are made for fast office use and better privacy.
Information we may receive
When you visit pdflab.in, basic technical information may be handled by our hosting provider, browser security systems, content delivery network (CDN), analytics services if enabled, and advertising partners if you consent. This may include browser type, device type, approximate region, pages visited, errors and performance data. We do not intentionally store files selected for browser-side tools. If you contact us at support842@gmail.com or through the contact page, we may receive your name, mobile number, email address and message content that you choose to submit.
How we use information
We use information to improve tool performance, fix broken pages, respond to support messages, understand popular tools and maintain a safe user experience. ANU PDFLAB does not sell user documents. We also do not ask for login details for basic tools.
Important safety advice
Please avoid using shared computers for confidential files. Do not send Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, passwords or private office records through contact forms unless absolutely required. Always check downloaded output before using it for official portals, departments, applications or legal submissions.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
ANU PDFLAB may use Google AdSense to support the free website. Advertising scripts are gated by the site consent banner in this package and should only be enabled after the applicable consent choice. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar signals to show personalized or non-personalized advertisements, measure ad performance and prevent abuse. The exact cookies and vendors can vary by region, consent setting and the Google products enabled by the owner.
Users can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and learn about Google’s data use in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser. In regions where Google requires a certified consent solution, the owner must configure Google AdSense Privacy & Messaging before serving ads.
Analytics, hosting and CDN services
The static website is hosted through the service selected by the owner. Some tool pages load third-party browser libraries from established CDNs for PDF, OCR or QR functionality. Those requests may expose technical information such as your IP address to the CDN. No analytics provider is intentionally enabled by this source package; if analytics is added later, this policy and the consent settings must be updated before collection begins.
Choices and consent
You may choose “Only necessary” in the consent banner to avoid the advertising loader, or “Allow advertising” if you agree to advertising cookies. You can clear the saved choice from your browser’s site data and choose again. Basic browser tools may continue to work without advertising consent.
Third-party privacy policies
Google, hosting providers, CDN providers and other third parties may process information under their own policies. ANU PDFLAB does not control their systems and does not sell user documents. Review the relevant provider policy before using an optional service.
